STILL LIFE



Still Life study was my introduction to art and offered all the lessons a young artist needed to build a strong foundation for a life of art. It was an essential part of my education and is still a favored genre to this day. The Still Life reveals much about the artist as all aspects of the subject matter are totally in the artist’s control. As a result, the Still Life painting offers the viewer a much more intimate connection with the artist.
